This was more than enough for our group of six people. Spacious and clean. It was a nice walk to the beach-leisurely about 10minutes to a nice swimmable beach, coconut tree lined and unique. Amenities in the house were great; air conditioned bedrooms were a welcome relief. The family loved the pool as well. Food shops were across the street about five minutes walk and the supermarket about 10minutes walk. We also went to the local market by car- about 10 minutes drive or less. The care taker and her mother were super helpful including with requests for mangoes, LOL Amazing stay in Trinidad, won't mind staying there again. They were so communicative and helpful including giving information for a local taxi to get to and from the airport and around locally which we did not end up needing. Only down side, no washer or dryer so plan accordingly.

our family and the kids had a great time here, the communication was great the house was clean and near supermarkets and some stores. we will definitely we renting again in the future. I recommend Safiya's Beach house. the beach is a few min walk but still really great place

We were looking for a great place by the water for a relaxing week with family. This house was lovely and seemed to suite our needs. I contacted the owner on the app and requested the house. Our request was instantly approved and we paid. Closer to the date we asked for one additional day but never heard back from the owner. Upon arrival to the property there was already two families in the house. When we were able to get in contact with the owner, there had been a mix up in communication. This was the first time posting this property to AirBnb (they rent using a different website normally) and she hadn't been able to get into the account for sometime so she didn't see our rental. Once the families had left, the house was cleaned and sanitized for our use. The owner noted if we needed anything just to ask. She was kind enough to offer us an extra day on the back end of our stay, which was a nice compensation for the mix-up. The house is spacious with all the rooms we needed. Unfortunately there wasn't a washing machine as advertised so clothes had to be hand washed. Also some of the toiletries noted to be provided had been taken by the previous renters when they left so we had to ask for them. The house is right by the beach with town just a few more minutes away. The area is pretty quiet so the evenings are lovely. It was also nice to have air conditioning in the rooms to keep cool while we slept. The owner was friendly and easy to speak with. All in all it ended up to be a lovely time for our stay. We'd be happy to come back in the future with the family for another vacation.
