After more than 10 years living in a beautiful part of southern Kosovo, we decided to renovate an old house, rebuild a fallen-down barn and share this wonderful setting with others. Hangjik ("Little Inn") has two suites ("Apple" and "Cherry") in the old house and a further bedroom/en suite/lounge and kitchen diner in the old barn ("pleme"). All bedrooms consist of twin or king sized beds with extra sleeping space available in the lounge areas of the suites, to a maximum of 4 people per suite. In the old house there is a communal kitchen, sitting room and dining area. Flexible arrangements are available regarding food from fully catered- for to fully self-catering. (Search using "Hangjik" or message me for more information on this). Hangjik is in a quiet village with amazing mountain views and plenty of walks into wooded hills right on the doorstep. The walled garden which is part of Hangjik provides privacy and pleasure for the eyes with old fruit trees, plenty of flowers and a productive vegetable garden. The nearby town of Kacanik is approximately one hour by car or two hours by bus and train from the capital cities of Pristina in Kosovo and Skopje in Macedonia. There is a lively cafe culture locally, with good eating places easily available. We offer a good stopping off place for a short break or a longer stay. To our knowledge there is no other place quite like Hangjik in Kosovo and possibly further beyond. Search using "Hangjik" for more information. Airport transit can be arranged if required.
