Immaculate, lovely decor, well equipped, five minute walk from Helen Keller Birthplace, nice deck and comfortable deck chairs, great host was responsive and friendly, close to Florence (lots of restaurants and museums), close to park with natural spring in Tuscumbia and Willows Day Massage (excellent). Two queen beds--one mattress was excellent; other queen mattress was too soft for us.

We chose this house over a hotel and IT WAS BEYOND WORTH IT!!!! Our children had their own room. The toddler took great naps in this quiet space between our adventures. The space was EXTREMELY clean, beds were so comfortable and we also appreciate Thomas’s personal touch with nice cold glasses in the freezer and plenty of things available in case you forgot to pack something. We were literally less than 10 minutes away from anything we wanted to see!!!! So many great parks and scenic overlooks!!!!! The house may look small but we never felt cramped. if anything, we felt nothing but comfortable. Fenced in backyard was a plus for kids!

Cute little home away from home. Older home, but extremely clean with most needed amenities. This place has a lot of love in it. If you're a light sleeper, prepare for the train horn several times per night, but of course, the host has no control over that. Great stay and I'd definitely stay again!

Probably my fourth or fifth time staying at Thomas’ place. You really can’t beat the price point and amenities. If available I’ll stay there at least 3 nights every month. It’s really becoming a second home. Thomas is very friendly and accommodating to myself and my two children. Highly recommended and book early.
