We had SUCH a good holiday at The Den! It's clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. The hot tub is brilliant and has a lovely view over the fields behind. The host is absolutely lovely and went above and beyond, including to help us get the hot tub warm in the rain! his is the best Air BNB we've stayed at - it's cleverly designed and furnished to be small but perfectly formed! There was plenty of space for our family four. And did I mention it's pristine?! There is so much thought and care that's gone into this place and making sure you have a lovely time with them. I really want to go back!

We had an excellent few nights with our little one (age 2). The accommodation is very cosy and comfortable. Everything was very clean and there were some nice touches with a bottle of fizz on arrival, Easter hunt for our daughter etc. The hot tub is an additional cost and we did manage to use it once but it takes some time to get going and if you’re busy exploring, this was tricky. However, Helen helped and was always on hand whenever we needed anything. It’s in a great location to explore Northumberland and we had a lovely few days.

We had a great stay over New Year as a family of four. The Den was even better than in the photos and was well equipped and very comfortable and warm. We chose the additional hot tub option, which gave us enough logs for three evenings/afternoons in the wood-fired tub - perfect in the cold weather. Helen was a really good host and quickly sorted a minor issue with the bedroom lamps. Wifi was a bit weak for the first night which may have been weather related - it was fine with the smart TV but a bit flaky for our mobile phones. Overall RECOMMENDED :)

The Den was clean, cosy and well-equipped; ample for 2 adults and 2 children. The treats on arrival were a welcome touch. Uninterrupted countryside views as far as the eye can see from the large deck at the front of the pod. Lovely, peaceful but convenient location in a wonderful part of the world: Alnwick, Craster, Bamburgh and Holy Island are all within easy reach. Our stay coincided with bonfire weekend and we were lucky enough to watch fireworks from the wood-fired hot tub one evening. The owner was extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommended.

The Den was superb. Great furnishing, well equipped, cosy, comfortable and has everything we needed. The hosts left us some nibbles and fizz for our arrival which was a lovely thoughtful touch. We had an issue with the heating and hot water while we were there but Helen wuickly resolved the issue for us and even left us a voucher for a local eatery by way of an apology for the inconvenience. What a kind gesture. On the phone Helen was really friendly and gave great recommendations for local places to visit and eat. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet - if only the weather was better! We would definitely recommend the Den for a quiet relaxing family getaway.
