I was very disappointed with Novum rentals due to very poor communication. Myself and my husband called many times before we arrived and whilst there but our calls were never ever answered or replied to. I asked for the pool to be heated to no less than 32 degrees and they promised to do this. When we arrived the pool was 28 degrees and I was told ( by the owner that just happened to be at the Villa showing other guests around that to heat the pool was €50 a day. This is sometime I expect my agents to know and follow through with my wishes which didn’t happen. The only phone call I had from themwas on the way to the Villa to say you would meet me at the Villa to greet us and show us around and demonstrate how everything works. On arrival we noticed that the BBQ was absolutely filthy and broken, the large umbrella was also broken and several shutters didn’t work. We didn’t even have enough coffee cups to go round our family , we had to wash them reuse in turn. After several messages theysend 2 cleansers to clean the BBQ but they never bothered to come over ever, even after asking several times to do this. I called many times but you never answered my calls. Your lack of customer service has been appalling, this holiday has cost us £20,000 so knowing that the agent fees are around €4,000 they should be going above and beyond for theircustomers. For the last 3 days we had to live without air con as it broken down. The only joy we had was with the owner Christian who gave me his personal number to contact him to sort all the problems out as I was getting no where with the agents. I suggest that they address their future customers with far more help and advise and actually be there to greet your guests on arrival and make sure everything in the Villa is up to very high standards. On a positive note the Villa was great for our family it was just such a shame that we spent so much time and effort sorting out issues that could of been sorted before our arrival.

We rented a home through Novum Rentals for our whole family (15 people) in a home in Spain. We checked in in the night, and when we woke up next morning there had been a burglary. The thief clearly only went for our luggage, as nothing else where touched. The theifs walked in our rooms while we were sleeping, which was very unpleasant feeling to wake up to the next morning - especially as there were four kids, who were very afraid The next day we were told by Novum rentals how to set the alarm and fold down the blinds for the windows and doors, so that it would not be possible to break in. It seems wierd to me, that this information conveniently were not given when we checked in. Besides the burglary the home were not as luxurious as on the pictures. There were laundry hanging outside in the pool area, we had to clean the kitchen equipment before being able to use it, the drain in two of the showers so the water run over when showering, the aircon in one of the rooms did not function, the diswasher did not function and the pool was not heated as promised. When we were talking with Novum about these things, and seeking a discount for the toubles we have had with the house, there were not much help to get. My communication with Novum stopped when I was send a message allegedly from the owners of the house, were they stated that if I continued my request for a discount for my stay they would drag me to count. Again as a customer to Novum, I am wondering why I was forwarded this unsympathetic message. I would not recommend renting a home through Novum based upon my experience - a least not of you pay a fortune for a week, and are expecting to get a luxury and relaxing week. That what at least not what we got, and we have not received any sort of compensation for it.

Novum were great, kept me in the loop about any changes or things that could effect our stay (Covid). Were always on hand to help and they even gave me a mobile number to contact them if needed. I would definitely use Novum in the future and highly recommended them. I stayed in Pueto Banus Villa - the villa owner was a fantastic host too, top bloke, extremely helpful and available at all times of the day 👍 I hope to be back in the future.
