Carissima was lovely! We have stayed in various houses in rhossili over the years and this was one of the best ones :) there was 5 of us so we had plenty of room (the living room would perhaps be a bit snug if there were 10 of you) but it was perfect for us! Jez and the team were responsive to any questions during our stay and were quick to drop off some tea towels that had been missed for our arrival. I cannot fault the communication during our stay at all! The bottle of prosecco on our arrival was a nice touch and the kitchen/utility room were incredibly well stocked (air fryer, slow cooker, washer and dryer) it was fun to experiment with the aga and we toasted hot cross buns on it. Some blankets in the living room would be a nice addition - but that is really scrapping the barrel to find a suggestion! 10/10
Stunning location

We spent a magical Christmas here. The house is comfortable, warm and cosy despite being spacious. It's really well equipped and in a marvellous location for walks to the beach and headland with the fantastic Worm's Head Hotel on the doorstep for a well-earned pint. We would love to return!

I live with my wife, Elizabeth, and Bailey the gentle Alsatian in Devon. We particularly love the Gower peninsula in South Wales, which is close to where Elizabeth grew up (actually, I am not sure if either of us have ever fully grown up). We love it there so much that I proposed on the beach. We have the privilege of being able to rent space there to guests and always try to treat our guests as we would hope to be treated when we rent. The reverse is also tried - we always look after properties that we stay in and understand that they are homes rather than businesses). We have been hosting since 2018 and our very proud of our review history. Favourite thing about hosting? - When guests tell us about the special memories they made -some guests have even got engaged on their stay :) Worst? - If guests encounter a problem and we don’t find out until their review - We will always try and resolve any issues quickly but we need to know about them at the time.
