We had a good stay at Maggiefrida's place, and her and her staff were helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The accommodations were clean and looked like the pictures, and the location is suburban with the beach not far away if you are looking for a quieter suburban neighborhood. Be aware, this location is a bit north of downtown and the roads can have a lot of traffic during the day, making commuting downtown a bit longer. Accessing the house was not difficult using the GPS pin location provided by the staff. A few notes about the place: 1. Even though the listing says the house has hot water, we were never able to get it to work during our stay. The water was usually cold, and at best, minorly lukewarm. 2. The house rules state that electricity is included for stays under two weeks. Our stay was under two weeks, and one week into the stay were told we had to top up the electricity account because "we were using too much". We didn't seem to use more than normal.

Nice accomodations. Very clean. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Friendly hostess speaks English and Swahili. Don't follow Google maps to get there. Use directions provided by hostess.

Mama Florah and her groundskeeper Eva were the BEST hosts you could ever ask for!!! Communication was great for our two month stay as they made sure that we always had whatever we needed. They were able to give us suggestions on places to visit and things to do or explore!! The compound in which we stayed had security at the gate every night so there was always someone there to make sure we were ok. We used Uber mostly to get around by car but only if it was too far to walk which usually we would do. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting Dar es Salaam,Tanzania!!! Its perfect and it will be missed!! Thanks Mama Florah for the warm welcome and awesome hospitality!!!

The housing units offered by Maggiefrida are clean. They offer friendly and helpful staff and were recently equipped with reasonable Wi-Fi. The location has two nearby beaches but is quite the distance from the city center (major attractions) 40-60 minutes depending on traffic. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and recommend your serious consideration of booking.

I want to take this opportunity to describe just how pleasant my family's stay at Mshana Villa was and why. We are very particular about customer service, cleanliness and security. Our stay was a very positive and enjoyable experience as AirBnB guests at Mshala Villa. We would definitely book them again. The three bedroom villa we stayed in has it all. It's a clean, modern, well maintained, fuly furnished villa with television, AC, internet, hot water, reliable water and electrcity. (Who ever said that you have to stay at an AirBnB in downtown Dar es Salaam to experience reliable water and electrcity in Tanzania.) It has a complete kitchen with all the modern kitchen utensils and appliances you need to prepare your meals just as if you were back home. There are ceiling fans in every room and each bedroom is airconditioned. It's in a serene and very secure neighborhood in Boko Beach very close to a main road. The cleaning and housekeeping service was delivered with care and courteousness and a high degree of professionalism. It became obvious from the very beginning of our stay that Mrs. Mshana or Mamma Florah, as she is affectionately called, has a strong commitment to excellence. Her commitment to customer service and hospitality is beyond commendable. Truly, this has been a very enjoyable and stress free experience for my family and I. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa and host to any person or family looking for a serene modern home away from home in a semi-sub urban setting with old fashioned hearty customer service.
