Beautiful, clean apartment with breathtaking views of the ocean. The floor to ceiling windows in the living area and the bedroom make the most of the amazing views. The hosts were unbelievably helpful and accommodating when we needed to amend our check in date at the very last minute! Enjoyed every minute of our stay - thank you!

The Calm is conveniently located in Newcastle East, directly across from the beach and close to lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. It is just a 200m walk onto Newcastle Beach, and 650m to Newcastle Ocean Baths (currently under renovation). It is 1.2km to Nobby’s Beach, 800m to King Edward Park & the Bogey Hole, and 1.2km to Newcastle Memorial Walk. Our guest manual (received after booking) includes our recommendations for where to eat & drink close by to the property.
The Calm is a 30-minute drive from Newcastle Airport, 400m from Newcastle Beach Light Rail stop. The Queens Wharf Ferry stop is just a 750m walk from the apartment.
