Thanks to Marcos and Camilla for making our stay in Antigua so lovely and memorable. They were so helpful picking us up from the airport and taking us to get groceries before heading out to the cottage. Like the other reviewers, we loved the peaceful location so close to the beach and they even had coffee/milk/water and a few snacks at the cottage for us. Camila was extremely helpful in answering all questions very quickly. You'll definitely need a car to get around, but well worth it in order to get a feel for the island and to see the sights. We'll be back! Thanks again.

The cottage was in a beautiful location in the trees behind a stunning beach (shell beach). Very quiet and peaceful and excellent value for money!

A traditional, Antiguan feel. Simple living with beautiful beach nearby on foot. Very little in surrounding area - would need a car to make the most of it. Thank you for having us!

We stayed at spice cottage for 11 nights and have to say we had great experience dealing with Marco from the time we booked until we left!He is always quick to respond and having someone (his assistant Camilla)meet us at the airport upon arrival was a great touch. Be prepared that the cottages are in a very secluded area ! Galley Bay Beach is only a 3 minute walk away but I highly recommend renting a car as there is little else to do nearby ! Now a few cons! Be prepared that the cottages are definitely more tired than the pictures show!They are at a point of needing some TLC.The main door could really use a screen (to keep out unwanted guests!)The connecting paths between the cottages and to head to beach are actually quite risky to walk on due to lack of upkeep especially at night as there is little or no lighting. We loved our stay in Antigua and enjoy all our experiences with the local /extremely friendly people and hope one day to return!
