You will find Apartment Azur in the middle of the historic city center of Middelburg at the foot of the large church tower.
Middelburg is a city for explorers. Discoverers of imposing monuments, ornate facades and medieval streets. But also for lovers of specialty shops, restaurants, squares and terraces. For people who like to immerse themselves in culture, festivals and culinary outdoor parties. Middelburg has more than 1100 monuments and is the third monumental city in the Netherlands. Walking through the medieval Kuiperspoort, the Spanjaardstraat or along the quays, you imagine yourself in the time when Middelburg was known as the largest merchant city in the Northern Netherlands and the East Indiamen stored their valuable goods in the warehouses on the Binnenhaven.
The 38-kilometre-long beach at a distance of 7 km and a visit to neighboring towns such as Domburg and Veere make a stay in Middelburg attractive. Water sports enthusiasts and golfers are also well catered for with the beach and a 9 hole golf course within a 15 minute drive.

On arrival, you can park in front of the Apartment in our short-term parking spaces.
Secure parking
There is a secure car park located just 5 minutes’ walk from the Apartment. Parking here costs € 10,90 per day 2and is free of charge on Sundays and public holidays. You do not have to book in advance. There are charging stations for electric cars in the garage.
Parking in the city centre
There is paid parking from 8 am to 8 pm throughout the city of Middelburg, except on Sundays and public holidays.
The price for this is € 2.90 per hour. A maximum parking time limit of 2 hours also applies. You can also park in front of the Apartment but be aware that it is paid parking for a limited time. This is strictly enforced and fines cost around € 60.
Free parking
You can also park free of charge about 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
However, this is outside the city centre at an unsecured business car park and we do not advise you to park here.
Public transport
The Middelburg railway station is 700 meters away on foot. The bus station is also located here.
The train station has a direct intercity connection with Rotterdam, The Hague, Amsterdam Airport and Amsterdam Central. The train departs every half hour.
