Forming part of a large property hidden away from the outside world. The house sits on the edge of beautifully landscaped gardens with private pool, summer kitchen and pétanque pitch all leading down to the private lake, setting the backdrop for an amazing holiday home. The village of Cazals, a 500m stroll away, boasts a super market every Sunday , 12 months of the year, as well as an award winning boulangerie, farm shop, restaurants., etc.. The property itself is a spacious, detached house. You will have exclusive use of this gîte, the swimming pool and its gardens in front. The thick stone walls offer a cool escape from the heat of the sun. With a generous sized kitchen, living/dining space with open tread staircase leading to 2 large double bedrooms (approx 15m²/ 49 sq ft each). The property boasts 3 bathrooms (2x showers, 1x bath) and 2 toilets. This property easily sleeps 4 in 2 real bedrooms, , we have the option to have 2 single beds in one of the bedroom and there is a sofa bed for a 5th guest if needed. The living room overlook the salt water pool and gardens. When hunger calls, preparing your food has never been easier with a fully equipped kitchen inside the gîte or on the barbeque in the summer kitchen outside. In the evenings when the sun isn't quite as powerful, brush up on your pétanque skills on the private pitch, or join in with the locals on the village square. You will also find a table tennis table, dart board and badminton to enjoy. If you still feel like keeping in touch with the outside world then a fast wi-fi connection is available (423 Mbit/s). A television with a DVD/Bluray player and a smart hub where you can log in your Netflix, Disney etc account is also available. A selection of books and DVD are kept inside the gîte. We live in a separate house on the property, giving you full privacy, but also more than happy to answer and questions you may have.

The 4 of us staying are experienced Airbnb’er & we were expecting a lot of this booking . Fair play to Serge and Sam they 100% met our high expectations. It’s a fantastic place to stay either for exploring the amazing area or for a lazy day staying locally . We can’t recommend it enough!
Petit séjour chez Serge en famille. Bien accueilli, Serge et sa femme étaient disponibles pour des conseils. On a eu aussi pas mal d'informations sur les activités ou restaurants. Même si la météo n'était pas idéale, on a pu faire quelques activités. Endroit magnifique, maison idéale, propre pour un séjour. Je recommande !
Tout était parfait. Le logement est superbe, les installations idéales, tout est fait pour qu’on se sente bien et c’est très réussi. La localisation est idéale pour découvrir la région. Enfin Serge est aussi disponible et sympathique que discret. Je recommande (mais pas trop car on aimerait garder ce cocon pour nous).
We stayed at Serge’s place for nearly a month over Christmas and NYE and it was wonderful! Since the moment we booked it, he was very helpful and friendly. The house is so beautiful, the surroundings are quiet, peaceful and still beautiful during the winter. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a chance to use the swimming pool and make the most of the space as it was very cold but I can imagine it looking gorgeous and with lots to do when the weather is nice. Serge is an amazing host and didn’t hesitate to help us when it was needed. His wife is also lovely! The house has everything you need and the fireplace was the highlight of it. The region is beautiful for walks, there are lots of beautiful villages within a short drive (including a few “Les Plus Beaux Villages de France” nearby) and a few daily markets around. I can't recommend the place enough! Book it and you won’t regret it!
Wir waren drei Tage auf diesem wundervollen Anwesen. Das war fast zu wenig um Gegend und das tolle Air BnB zu genießen. Der Pool und das Haus waren traumhaft und super ausgestattet. Auch viele Tipps hat Serge uns gegeben um die Gegend zu erkunden. Vielen Dank!

Notre gîte se trouve aux portes de Cazals, village médiéval à la frontière des régions de la Dordogne et du Lot.
Chaque semaine y a lieu son marché vous offrant une belle sélection de produits frais et locaux.
Une épicerie fine, une boulangerie renommée pour la qualité de ses produits, ainsi qu’une supérette y sont ouvertes toute l’année.
Les tables de la région, bien connues pour leur haute gastronomie, sont accessibles par les jolies routes du coin.
Les environs offrent une grande palette d’attractions, de nombreux beaux villages, châteaux, vignobles, jardins, rivières, grottes et d’excellents chemins de randonnée.
