Great place for a hen, the kitchen was decently equipped and was a good social area, bedrooms were quirky, great social spaces inside and outside and areas for activities, chilling together and eating. There was some guidance on noise but we weren’t given the noise policy previous guests have mentioned and this didn’t affect our stay. Large Supermarkets were within a few minutes drive. Would recommend bringing dishwasher tablets as only one provided and no sponges. Some rooms were a little musty as previously mentioned but were fine with a bit of airing. We went to the Leagate Inn for lunch- would recommend for food and atmosphere- lovely staff. It wasn’t possible to get a taxi there- having called around drivers either said it wasn’t worth their while (!) and wasn’t able to find larger cars for the group. It wasn’t a problem as we all had cars but something to bear in mind. Also welcome Prosecco and coffee machine were much appreciated!

We had our whole family staying grandparents to a 2 year old. Plenty of spaces not to feel on top of each other. Great fun themed rooms. Great hot tub. A wonderful ‘sunroom’ which felt like Bali! It had a great dining room for our formal dinners - all in all a great success

What an amazing house - quirky but had everything the place to celebrate my 50th Birthday - it was fantastic
