Wonderful experience. The property management was very welcoming and explained everything thoroughly. The house not only met, but exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was equipped with ample dishes, glasses, silverware and every cookware, bakeware, kitchen tool and food storage you could possibly need. There were pool, beach and some house toys. There were also backpacking beach chairs, a beach umbrella. and plenty of beach and pool towels.

This was a beautiful house in a great location very close to Poipu beach. You could see the ocean from the patio and hear the waves (and roosters!). The house was amazingly clean and well maintained with a wonderful kitchen, plenty of seating, and room for our two families to easily mingle. The property manager, Bryan, was amazingly helpful as well. Nothing but 5 stars there. One star was removed for a few things. One minor and one potentially a bigger deal. For the minor issue: The air conditioning settings tied to the sliding doors are overly aggressive. If the door is not perfectly shut, the air goes off and doesn't come back on for about 10 minutes. This makes one room (the detached bedroom) particularly warm very quickly. A longer time before shutting off air would be appreciated. Potentially bigger issue: Privacy in the bathrooms is a concern. There are glass shower doors and windows that let in plenty of light, but also potentially allow neighbors to peek in, especially with the higher elevation gain on one of the master suites. This was a problem during the construction next door, making that shower unusable during the daytime hours. When the house is finished, windows do face that direction and the higher elevation would let them see over the outside shower wall. The front-facing queen bedroom bathroom has this same issue with the opposite side of the house, along with an outside door to the outside shower that doesn't lock. The hot tub heater had gone out during our stay but was quickly fixed. That was much appreciated. We were granted a late check out as well, which helped with our evening flight out. Overall a great stay.
