Overall we enjoyed the experience of lodging here 73 nights, but there were some shortcomings. The major appliances and air conditioning all worked well. Appreciated the early check-in and late check-out. WiFi: The apartment’s MoviStar WiFi was often unreliable and or did not function. About 6 times/day, every day, the WiFi would shut down or stop functioning, requiring re-starts. Sometimes the instability lasted only a few minutes, other times 20-30 minutes. So if you have time sensitive online tasks, best to complete them before arriving here. Indigo Tower Management: Luis Bernardo / Katia have a fairly well equipped apartment, but the entire 4 Indigo Towers and their facilities are poorly managed. To wit: Without any warning, we endured electricity shutdowns, water shutdowns or the one elevator shutting down (a real issue when this apartment is located on the 11th floor). If construction or renovation work is going to be performed in some apartment in one of the towers, why could not the inhabitants of that tower, or at least those living in the affected spaces, be notified ahead of time that there would be no electricity or no water or the one elevator not operating? This happened multiple times. No power. Water suddenly stops. Elevator not working. Only when you are in the midst of taking a shower and the water cuts off, or returning with bags of groceries and have to climb 11 flights of stairs, not to mention no functioning toilet, do you realize how annoying this poor management can be. Why doesn’t management have email/text notification to residents, or an Indigo Tower website for residents, when these planned disruptions are scheduled? When the water was restored after the last unannounced water shutoff, the water pressure is now so weak, it is barely a trickle to the kitchen sink and I took to taking my daily shower in the public shower by the pool. (Incidentally the pool is often closed, and half the machines in the gymnasium no longer function and judging by their tattered ‘out of service’ signs, looked to have been out of service a long time.) The whole experience in lodging at the Indigo Towers — and hence this Airbnb apartment — could be much improved if Management cared. But they don’t. They just don’t give a shit.
