We are seasoned travellers to this area and this was one of the most charming villas we have rented. It was a last minute getaway and we felt utterly blessed to be there! Great space for a family of four - amazing outside area with so many comfortable seating options … close to Salema and whilst you do need a car … would never suggest coming to this part of the Algarve without one … so just perfect

Had an excellent stay at this amazing villa. The property has a brilliant pool and lots of outside space. The kitchen had a great supply of cooking utensils and dishes and the whole place had everything else that we needed. The property was exactly as described by the listing, really well equipped and clean. Our hosts were really good with the communication, very friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was having to check out and come home!

We hadden een heerlijke tijd (juli 2023)! Het huis is gezellig ingericht en echt alles is aanwezig. Van gezellige kaarsjes tot praktische zaken als pannen, wasmachine, droger, strijkijzer en een fohn. We voelden ons echt thuis. Het zwembad en de tuin zijn netjes en worden schoongemaakt. Het uitzicht over de vallei en golfbaan is prachtig. Je kan zelfs de zee zien. Er was net ook nog een jeu de boules baan aangelegd dus er is genoeg te doen, ook voor kinderen! Er was toen wij er waren flink veel wind, wat overdag lekker is, maar 's avonds heb je een trui nodig en soms zelf een lange broek. De zitjes die gecreërd zijn om uit de wind te zitten, zijn top! Er was een lekkere hangmat (Fatboy) en er zijn voldoende goede ligstoelen bij het zwembad, iets wat wij eerder misten bij woningen die we huurden. De supermarkt is op loopafstand en heeft alles. Helaas was het bakkertje tijdens ons verblijf grotendeels gesloten, maar normaal is dat ook dichtbij. Daarnaast zijn er veel goede restaurants!

Ian and Edgar are wonderful hosts and the communication effortless. The house is spectacular, with amazing views, all the amenities you could ask for and plenty of space. We will be back next year if we can!!

This is an exceptional property, beautifully decorated and with so much kitchen equipment it is like being at home. The pool and outside seating/barbecue areas are fantastic - we didn’t spend much time inside. The neighbourhood is very quiet - or was in early July - and we had a lovely, relaxing break. The villa is well situated for exploring the western Algarve and the southern Alentejo. Only downside for us was that while Budens village is walking distance there isn’t a lot there and Salema and Burgau are a short drive/taxi ride away. All in all, a superb property.
