On the day I arrived I was scheduled for 4 PM check in. It wasn't until about 530 that I was able to get into the house. When we entered the place was poorly cleaned. Later on we were outside and started to smell a horrible septic smell. Upon looking around we discovered that the septic was overflowing into the yard. There was poop and toilet paper pieces even on the ground. I messaged the host and they replied "dang,sorry". It was absolutely disgusting smelling outside we couldn't even sit in the gazebo and eat lunch like we had planned. The kids were playing in the yard that has septic water overflowing into it. The water that came out of the kitchen sink was absolutely disgusting, as well as the smell after you ran the dishwasher. On day of checkout the cleaning lady showed up before 10am when we were supposed to leave. It was very uncomfortable for her to be there especially having children. great location! Just definitely not worth what was paid.

The place was exactly as described - peaceful, private, and perfect for a family weekend. We had a few minor issues during our visit and Wayne responded immediately with apologies and took care of everything.
