The inn is a lovely restored building, with beautiful wood panelling and stained glass windows. I was traveling with a friend (a long 1000 mile road trip) and the inn was our midway rest point. We arrived late in the evening - 10 pm, and Dan was kindly there waiting for us to let us in and show us to our rooms. We had an early morning start and he kindly asked what time we wanted to eat breakfast. Accommodating us at 7:30 am was really helpful. Lois was there in the morning to greet us and cook breakfast. She was a delight and really made it feel like you were visiting a friend or family and staying in their home. Overall, the room I stayed in was comfortable and had everything I needed. The bathroom, while a little outdated, was spotlessly clean. My understanding is that the owners plan to renovate the bathrooms at some point. Lovely place to stay in a lovely town.

We really enjoyed staying at this beautifully restored 1800’s period home. The host, Dan, was very helpful and welcoming. He also gave us great recommendations of state parks to visit in NY, which we greatly appreciated.

Beautiful Victorian Inn, character preserved, impeccably clean, conveniently located, grocery within walking distance, attention to detail maintained, very private, furnished beautifully, Kathryn very attentive to needs/requests, delicious breakfast, “chef” was a delight! Check out the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Church it is gorgeous! Thank you, I’ll be sure to come again!
