No, seriously, it's the Coolest Small Town in America! Our guest house is located steps away from downtown Lewisburg making it perfectly accessible to award-winning restaurants, unique shops, fine art galleries, boutique stores, nightlife, and historic sites. Travel less than 5 minutes to the Greenbrier River Trail, 10 miles to the Greenbrier Resort, only 60 miles to Snowshoe Mountain Resort, and the Greenbrier State Forest is less than 15 miles away. We'll give you the WiFi password, but you'll have to use your own Netflix log in! What that means is we have WiFi and a Smart TV. The guest house is on the second floor of a private garage in a private residence located in the Historic District of Lewisburg, WV. You'll have your own space all to yourself: 1 bedroom/ 1 bathroom with full living room, dining area as part of the open floor plan. The kitchen has counter seating in addition to a full table with 4 chairs, and ample seating for lounging in the living room. The deck/balcony overlooks a private yard and has views of downtown Lewisburg. There is a dedicated/reserved, off-street parking spot. Laundry facilities can be made available upon request.

Very walkable and peaceful location with lovely amenities. Joanne was extremely proactive in communicating and had helpful local recommendations. Will definitely look this listing up again when we return to Lewisburg.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! I was in town for a work event which requires long stressful hours but their home was a wonderful respite at the end of the day. It was quiet and peaceful. If I’m ever back in town, I will definitely book this again!

Joanne and James place is in a great location, an easy walk to some of the best restaurants in Lewisburg. The unit has everything you need with a fully stocked kitchen, it is squeaky clean everywhere, has a large living room, and a very comfortable bedroom. Check in is very easy, Joanne and James respond to questions very quickly, and the unit is very private with its own entrance and parking. If you are in the Lewisburg area, I highly recommend staying at Joanne and James place.

A very lovely space. Quiet, extremely comfortable, and very peaceful even though it is right in town. Easily walkable to downtown. Spacious interior and lovely surrounding green space with a covered porch. A new favorite of ours in the Lewisburg area. A wonderful experience overall!

We are the first residential property outside downtown Lewisburg. We sit on the block between the Livery Tavern and the historic General Lewis Inn. The local coffee shop, the Wild Bean, is less than a 2 minute walk. The Greenbrier Valley Theatre and Carnegie Hall are accessible by foot. If you're lucky to be in town for a parade, you're welcome to watch from our front lawn- which is highly sought after on the parade route.

We haven't measured, but we're confident that we are the closest residence to downtown! If your activities or reservations take you to the French Goat or the historic General Lewis Inn you will *not* need to drive! In fact, if any of your activities are held downtown you will not need a car. You will have to drive to the Greenbrier River Trail, Greenbrier State Forest, or White Sulphur Springs.
