Great spot for a getaway! Less than 2 hours from the DFW area. Quiet, secluded and comfortable. Perfect place for our city bound dogs to run and play.

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was exceptional! The large fenced-in property provided the perfect playground for our dog, Tika! Valerie, the host, was extremely kind and helpful, immediately responsive, provided great dining recommendations and so much more. We loved having our morning coffee on the patio listening to the birds as well as the friendly duck on the pond just steps away. The surrounding foliage is especially beautiful this time of year and temperatures were perfect during our stay. This area is near our childhood homesteads so it was the perfect location for us to visit Lake Murray, Lake Arbuckle, communities of Wilson, Sulphur, Tishomingo, Mill Creek and Troy. Ardmore provided great dining and shopping opportunities. We highly recommend this property to others and look forward to a future visit ourselves. Old memories were relived while new memories made over the past three days. Valerie is THE best Airbnb host we’ve ever experienced.

This place has everything that we had hoped for our little getaway with family. It is super clean and cozy. Everything worked as they should and bathrooms are clean. It is a quiet location and a ton of room for kids to run around. Our grandchild caught his first fish at the pond which made his day! The host is super friendly and communicative and prompt in responding to questions and recommendations. Our family loved our stay and definitely recommend this cabin. We will definitely come back!
