As I drove down the farm track approaching Rumps ahead I knew I’d made the right choice for my week stay. On opening the door and stepping inside I immediately felt at home. The high ceilings and large windows allow the natural light to pour in and makes it feel so spacious. It has been tastefully designed with warm, earthy textures and is very comfortable. The views are picture postcard. The only downside is that a week is not long enough! I didn’t want to leave and am already planning a return visit.

What a special place! The location is amazing with far stretching views to the The Rumps and the sea. Beautiful. And the house is wonderful. A traditional farm building has been converted to a very high standard. I spent the whole time hiking the coast path north and south. I loved my time there and look forward to my next visit!

Rumps Ahead is an amazing place! The cottage is quaint, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was stunning: it was so peaceful to be on the farm, wander through the fields, and meet the cows and Gus, the friendly farm dog. The wild coast is just a short walk away. Wadebridge is a short drive away for groceries, and the farm shop down the road is charming. Philip and Mary were great hosts as well. Very responsive and always friendly. We were sad to leave and would love to come back again!
