The beautifully restored and designed house from the 16th century is located in the heart of the charming old town of Bale. It offers a very special atmosphere through the connection of year-round buildings with a modern, luxurious design. Das wunderschön restaurierte und designte Haus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert liegt im Herzen der charmanten, mittelalterlichen Altstadt von Bale. Es bietet eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre durch die Verbindung der jahrhundertealten Gemäuer mit einem modernen, luxuriösen Design. Das Haus verfügt auf 3 Etagen über 2 große Schlafzimmer, ein Esszimmer mit Küche, einen Wohnbereich sowie 2 Badezimmer mit Dusche/WC und ein Gäste-WC. Alle Zimmer sind klimatisiert, an kühleren Tagen kann das Haus auch beheizt werden. Eine besonderes Highlight ist der lauschige Innenhof, in dem Sie Kaffee trinken, grillen oder einfach nur die Sonne genießen können. Lassen Sie sich verzaubern vom Charme der mittelalterlichen Altstadt und einem Hauch von Luxus unter der mediterranen Sonne.

Our stay at Christine’s place was wonderful. The accommodation is beautifully renovated and comfortably accommodated 2 couples. The beds were especially comfortable. The location is peaceful and away from the busy towns and cities yet close enough to visit with a short drive. Highly recommended. Be sure to visit Kamene price restaurant a few steps away for amazing local food.

Wir hatten 7 wundervolle Tage in diesem Stadthaus in Bale verbracht. Die ganze Ausstattung ist von ausgezeichneter Qualität, die Realität übertraf die Fotos im Inserat bei weitem. Eine Anregung möchten wir doch - auch im Sinne aller Nachmieter anbringen: Es wäre wunderbar, die Fenster mit Insektenschutzgittern auszustatten, da die Quälgeister leider den ganzen Tag aktiv waren. Ansonsten ist dieses Haus für alle, die das Besondere suchen, der ideale Ort...
I cannot say enough good things about this stay. The place is amazing! Tucked away in a magical walled city, this ancient house was seamlessly renovated with every modern amenity. Iva was our local host and point of contact - she met us for check in and check out, gave great recommendations, and was available for questions over text. We did day trips to Pula, Rovinj, Motovun but Bale was our favorite. It’s a quiet little town but a perfect home base to explore Istria - cannot recommend highly enough!!
Ļoti patika gan māja, gan nelielā pilsētiņa Bale , kurā tā atradās. Mājai bija jauks pagalms,kurā varēja ieturēt maltītes vai pasēdēt ar draugiem. Tuvējā apkārtnē bija daudz labu bāru un restorānu,lai gan pilsēta ir pavisam neliela. Mājā bija viss nepieciešamais, lai labi pavadītu brīvdienas ar draugiem.

Surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and Mediterranean scrub, the beautiful Istrian town of Bale sits enthroned on a karst plateau between Rovinj and Pula. It is only six kilometers to the coast with its beautiful beaches and crystal clear water. In the narrow cobbled streets of the town, time seems to stand still, the old walls tell stories of times long past. Bale has preserved the originality of its over 2000-year history. In this atmosphere you can escape from the fast pace of everyday life and immerse yourself in the peace and serenity of the place.
Despite the only about 1300 inhabitants, Bale offers an excellent infrastructure. There is a small supermarket with a butcher's shop and a bakery, as well as several (ice cream) cafes, bars and restaurants (from simple konobas to upscale gastronomy - including 2 of the best restaurants in Croatia according to Gault-Millau). Be sure to try the top class local olive oils!
The nearby beaches of San Polo and Colone at the campsite 'Mon Perin' are among the most beautiful in Istria. Even in high season, they are not overcrowded and invite you to swim and snorkel.
Bale is also an excellent starting point for excursions, cycling and hiking tours. Rovinj, the pearl of the Adriatic, is only 12 km away from Bale and can even be easily reached by bike!

Seit wir 2003 zum ersten Mal in Istrien waren, genauer gesagt in Bale, hat uns die Region in ihren Bann gezogen. Es folgten jährliche Besuche, wobei sich nicht nur eine enge Freundschaft mit unseren Gastgebern entwickelte, sondern auch ein guter Kontakt zu den Einheimischen. Aus dieser Verbundenheit heraus entstand die Idee, zusammen mit der Agentur "Amfora" in Bale, eine deutsche Agentur als Vertretung lokaler Vermieter in Istrien zu gründen. Since we were in Istria for the first time in 2003, more precisely in Bale, the region has fascinated us. Yearly visits followed and not only a close friendship with our hosts developed, but also a good contact to the locals. Out of this friendship the idea was born to found an agency together with the agency "Amfora" in Bale to represent local landlords in Istria. Wir freuen uns, Ihnen eine Vielzahl von Unterkünften in dieser schönen Urlaubsregion anbieten zu können. Wir stehen in engem Kontakt mit den Eigentümern der Objekte und kennen alle Häuser und Wohnungen persönlich. Dadurch können wir Ausstattung und Qualität der Objekte beurteilen und positiv beeinflussen. Besonderen Wert legen wir dabei auf faire Konditionen sowohl für die Mieter als auch für die Vermieter.
