Perfect host and perfect place. My mom kept saying that they have everything here. Can’t say enough good things about Marcy and her place
I really enjoyed my stay. The home was comfortable and beautiful and my dogs loved having the big yard to run in. Marcy was a great host, making sure we had all we needed for an enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay here again!
What more can we say then has already been stated. If you find yourself anywhere near Fayetteville, you owe it to yourself to try to book time at Marcy’s. Attention given to every detail, her little cottage is a restful and restorative haven… we will be back!
We had an great visit. This was our first go around with an an airbnb and it went better than we could have hoped. The retro farmhouse was just that. All the fixtures and furnishings were new and mixed in were antiques from a farmhouse. We will definitely book this location again. Location was just far enough away to be a little private but close enough to U of A campus and events.
Adorable little farmhouse with a amazing yard (that was our favorite part) we enjoyed the big yard with lots of room for the kids to play, the location of the house itself is awesome, close to lots of local things, it’s actually right next to a bike trail so we loved that too. Owners were amazing and even checked on us throughout our stay. Everything we needed plus some was at the house. We loved every bit of our stay and would book again!
Fayette Junction is on the quiet end of Fayetteville but is very close with easy access to the best parts of town. It's a modest neighborhood with mixed residential units and a neighborhood park just down Boone street. The Town Branch creek runs along adjacent property and you can see it next to the walking/biking trail to the South. Gentrification is slowly moving in but many of us in the neighborhood are working hard to preserve it's traditional history and looks. Our efforts on this farmhouse are an example of that preservation intent. Opposite efforts of developers are also obvious in the neighborhood.
Uncongested access to I-49 is only a couple of miles away should guests choose to explore by car more distant regional attractions like Crystal Bridges museum, the Amazium, the Walmart AMP outdoor concert venue, Beaver Lake, the Buffalo National River or Eureka Springs, among many others.
Razorback Greenway Regional Trail connection details:
The Town Branch trail, right next door, connects to the Cato Springs trail leading West to the 376 acre Kessler Mountain network with approximately 13 miles of natural surface biking/hiking/walking trails, and East to the 36 mile Razorback Regional Greenway, a paved and primarily off road trail extending from Fayetteville to Bella Vista. This makes it possible to walk/bike to the Dickson Street entertainment district, the historic Downtown Square (home to the Fayetteville Farmers' Market), the Cultural Arts Corridor, the award winning, Leeds Certified Fayetteville public library, or as far north as Crystal Bridges museum and beyond. Maps are available online or at the cottage if you prefer old school. You will find mileage listings for various attractions in the information binder there as well.
Ozark Regional Transit runs a bus schedule along S School street to the East.
