Selia’s place was a little oasis in the middle of a busy town, which worked out very nice for me given a close proximity of my office. Now I’m looking forward to my next trip to Houston.

Selia is such a sweet host! She has created a beautiful, eclectic, and serene wonderland with her property. It felt very “homey” , I loved hearing the doves, and watching Bella the goose as well as her duck, and all her Koi. Any questions I had she was quick to answer. If I ever find myself back in Houston I will definitely check to see if her property is available.

Another wonderful stay at Selia’s. This apartment is simultaneously spacious and cozy. A great little kitchen that opens up onto the porch where one could sit for hours, watching the koi pond and all the creatures that inhabit and enjoy it. Such a peaceful, beautiful place she has created.

The space is amazing and was even better than what I was looking for. It was more of an experience than a place to stay which is why I use AirBnB in the first place. Every day you are there you see something new you hadn’t noticed before. In addition to the spaces, Selia made special accommodations for 2 different situations we had. We needed to check in outside of her normal check in hours and needed to stay an extra day. On both occasions we were able to work things out seamlessly. Amazing space, amazing host. Must see if you’re ever in Houston.

I'm a native Houstonian but have lived in CA for 5 years. When I knew I was traveling back to Houston, I knew I wanted to see if one of Selia's units was available. I was in luck because the Peacock apartment overlooking the pond was available for my 4 day stay. I've known about Selia's Habitat House property since 2008 when I was first introduced to the intimacy of quaint house concerts. Since COVID, I don't think there have been many but I would go every chance I got back in the day because Selia's property is so amazing. Selia has created a beautiful, and quiet slice of heaven in the middle of the city. The location is excellent being so close to I-10 making it easy to drive to all parts of the city....if you must leave the property. I loved watching Bella the goose and Pippin the duck and the mesmerizing Coy in my rocking chair on the covered back porch during a rainstorm. There is such a peaceful vibe and energy there. Kudos to Selia for her amazing vision and hard work.
