More than we could have asked for! Very responsive and gracious host! Perfect place for our family. The best vacation house we have ever frequented. Airy, peaceful, crystal clear lake, plenty of towels, water toys, and kitchen was very well stocked and included any type of tool or spice you might need.

My large family (8 adults, 5 kids and three babies) had a great time at the oaks cottage. The little private beach across the road was absolutely perfect. The babies threw rocks on the beach while the big kids swam all day. It was truly an incredible, memorable and relaxing experience. We were so happy to have canoes and kayaks at our disposal and used them every day. There are two living rooms which was so great for our family as kids could be playing in one room while the adults were hanging out in the other. We stayed for one week but I wish we had a month. We would love to make a family tradition and come every year. The only thing that could be a challenge is that it is very far from supermarkets and restaurants. It wasn’t a problem for us as we planned ahead. And there is a grocery store a half hour away if you’re in need. All in all a wonderful place to stay, highly recommend to anyone. We had a great weekend at Oak Cottages. The house was spacious and with a big group we appreciated having two living rooms. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The lake front was easy to access and great for swimming, boating and relaxing. Barry made sure we had what we needed and was very welcoming. A great start to the summer.

Our stay at the Lake House at the Oaks was fantastic!! Our group included 10 adults and a 5 year old child. House: Each couple had their own bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. There are 2 living rooms and the door between the kitchen and the other living room/hall to bedrooms closes. This was great for allowing some of us to stay up late without disturbing the rest of the group. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with almost anything you need. I also loved that there were lots of extra beach towels. Beach/Waterfront: Lovely beach that is shared with the other cottages. There are a few kayaks, a stand up paddle board and lots of floaties (noodles, etc) available for use. There is a raft with a ladder to swim up to and jump off which was tons of fun. If you have a boat or rent one you can dock it at the beach as well (2 docks). The beach itself had a few rocks but not enough that you had to have water shoes on for swimming. The lake is amazing. The water is clear and not many weeds. Lots of fish around that you can catch off the dock or from a boat. Outdoor Space: The house itself has 2 decks - one off the front of the house with lovely views of the lake and one off the back with a fire pit and bbq. There is also a large lawn space that my group used to play cornhole. There are plenty of outdoor chairs so we didn’t need to bring our own. They also supplied all the wood for our nightly fires which was great. Hosts: Barry greeted us when we arrived. He showed us around and was very friendly. Any requests we made were quickly attended to. I did not meet David but he was great to deal with via email. Great communication and bonus having a host that is on the property. Overall, our group enjoyed this spot so much we have decided to book again next year. I highly recommend!
