Fresh and modern two bedroom flat located within central Helensburgh. Recently renovated with open plan kitchen, dining and living space. Sleeps up to 4 people with a kingsize bed in one bedroom, and two singles ( can be pushed together). A travel cot can be provided for infants on request. The flat is freshly decorated with bright walls and a homely tartan carpet throughout the bedrooms. To the rear of the flat the first bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table area with dark shelving and hanger space for storing clothes. The second bedroom has two single beds, which can, on request be converted to a super-king. It has a chest of drawers and small open hanging space. The toilet room has fully tiled walls and a wooden herringbone floor. The shower room is separate from the toilet room and has a large walk in shower. The kitchen living area is an open plan space with fitted kitchen comprising oven, electric hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, Nespresso machine, crockery and cutlery. There is a gateleg dining table which can be extended when required. The living area has some chairs, pouffe's and a double sized sofa bed. There is also a wall mounted TV in this space.
Really nice, modern, cozy flat with everything you need. Excellent location for anything you need within walking distance. would definitely come back.
Very comfortable beds in tenement flat. We found it to be quite and slept well! Very close to main square, shops, cafes, leisure centre, Loch side, Helensburgh central train station, bus stop connecting to Garelochead, Arrochar and Balloch. Really appreciated provision of some basic supplies and washer/dryer proved useful after a few days walking in the hills. Just felt the flat was let down by the kitchen area which could have been better equiped but manageable for self catering. Overall, recommended for a short stay, and a great base for walking the Three Lochs Way.
Couldn't reccomend this apartment more, it exceeded our expectations and I would love to stay again! The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was lovely and the whole apartment was just perfect for us. Charlotte was also quick at replying when I arrived in Helensburgh early and wanted to know if I could check in slightly earlier. Would 100% recommend staying here - we didn't want to leave! The flat is located in the heart of Helensburgh, and has views of a church and Colquhoun square and is approx 500m from the waterfront where, in the summer there is a real seaside town buzz with places to sit, eat and areas to walk.
The flat is positioned above a lovely flower shop which constantly wows with unusual window displays. It also sits above the attic a shop full of antiques and nick knacks.
Directly outside the flat the parking is restricted to an hour at a time until 6pm- but it is free overnight. Slightly further along the road however, away from the town centre you can park for free without restriction. William Street or Campbell street are perpendicular and have free unrestricted parking.
Helensburgh is well connected to major cities trains run every 30 mins to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Helensburgh Upper station also provides easy access to Oban.
