Gillian was very welcoming, friendly and easy to communicate with. There were lots of extra perks like snacks left for us and she made sure if we needed anything to let her know. Beautiful home, felt very comfortable and had everything we needed. They went out of their way to make sure we felt at home.

Definitely would recommend Gillian’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city. I’m sure it’s an awesome place to stay during the summer with the pool which was closed this time of year (mid-March), but there’s definitely a charm to coming during early spring - also the towns are pretty quiet which can be a good thing (less traffic, no dinner reservations needed). And the barn itself was awesome, very comfortable for a couple and very appreciated we were able to bring our dog for the fun - super spacious backyard! I think to maximize your stay it’s worth potentially staying for a week during the summer and working remotely! Thanks again for everything Gillian!

We had a great stay, Gillian and her partner were very helpful and responsive. The barn is beautifully decorated and spacious. A bit on the rustic side for the winter, but must be a dream in the summer!

Charming cottage filled with color art, books, games, puzzles. It was spotless and had all kinds of treats. We felt very welcome and comfortable. It was a February visit so we didn’t use the pool. We spent most of our time visiting local family so the spot was perfect. We would highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay. We particularly enjoyed spending time in the upstairs area of the barn with it’s beautiful light and spaciousness. Great base for exploring and helpful having the playground next door
