Fabulous place, everything we needed and more! Amble itself is fabulous and everything is on the doorstep of this beautiful house. The only thing that was missing was an information book regarding how to work the heating, oven etc. Hiweber, we contacted Airbnb and the host was with us in minutes to answer our queries

Generally we enjoyed our stay at Bede’s cottage. The location was lovely. It’s close to everything we needed and close to the attractions that we wanted to visit. There is the Amble social club very close by which was noisy but only on the Saturday evening. The place was lovely. Big spacious rooms, the welcome hamper was a nice touch and it was generally clean throughout. There was some dust and dirt that we noticed when we had to move sofas to retrieve toys the kids had lost. It was also great to have off street parking close by too. My main disappointment was poor communication from the owner. They sent the key safe code over in plenty of time which was great but after that I haven’t heard anything from them. I messaged a couple of times to ask a question and raise a concern (about locking the front door which was difficult) and I didn’t hear a thing back from them.

Lovely spacious house in a great location. Like several other guests we didn’t have a welcome hamper (a large basket with a packet of teabags is not a welcome pack) even though there’s pictures of one on the listing. Another niggle was that the bath plug leaked and we had to fix at our own expense. We messaged the company and had no response whatsoever. Overall a great place but these couple of things were quite annoying

The house is very big, perfect for a group of 5+ adults and small children. It is located right next to a pub/working man’s club so it was noisy in the evening but nothing too bad. Really easy to walk to the high street or the harbour. Doesn’t have a TV with Netflix/Amazon prime etc so slightly inconvenient in the evening for entertainment. Overall would recommend as the house is spacious and clean. Really nice welcome package upon arrival which was a really nice touch!

Fantastic house in a great location. Lovely hamper on arrival was much appreciated. Very clean and modern bathrooms. Would stay again.
