Rhosferig Lodge is a beautiful property with stunning views of the countryside. It is well equipped although there was not enough toilet rolls, coffee, fairy liquid, dishwasher tablets and no washing machine cleaning product. Would have been helpful if we had known this in advance. Also a tiny hand soap on each bathroom was inadequate for 7 guest so we were forced to go shopping. I mention this as previous stays at other properties have been plentiful. Joanne the cleaner kindly accepted our Sainsburys order as there was a last minute booking meaning we could not checkin as early as originally agreed. We found a pair of knickers and socks in the wardrobe in one bedroom and a sock in the washing machine. Whilst there was an enclosed garden there were sheep right next to us so we had to watch the dog all the time. We left the property clean and tidy. I was extremely upset to receive messages from Joanne the cleaner saying the guest book and two bath sheets were missing. I made some suggestions where the guest book may of been put but to be totally honest her replies were blunt and rude. We had no idea about bath sheets not everyone’s bed had them on. Would have loved to return to this property but the unfair and blunt messages after our stay have put me right off. Two of our party also got shut outside the gates which we were told would be open all weekend. Also think someone came to check up on us apparently the ground keeper!

Rhosferig Lodge was fantastic. Full of character and amazing views! As a group of 6 adults and 2 toddlers, we felt like we had a generous amount of space for relaxing with lots of comfy sofas around the fire. The snooker room was an added bonus! Very clean. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, we will certainly be back. Good walking from the house or short drive into the Brecons.

Beautiful well-equipped home, excellent location! Incredible views. The house has lots of space to not feel like everyone has to stay together. The pool table was a winner for our younger members, whilst the views, walks and sheltered outdoor seating suited the rest of the us! Loved cooking on the AGA, and fab that there is a conventional oven too if needed. Great communication throughout.

Beautiful picturesque lodge that is exactly as described. The only noise to be heard is of the animals, it is simply stunning!
