The original place I booked was not adequate for us. Yitzchak worked with us at the last minute to find a different place, even drove us to the new place. Was very responsive

This apartment was perfect for our needs as a couple, with bedroom and kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave oven, burners, and electric kettle, and it also included a washing machine, iron and ironing board and more than adequate closet space. It is conveniently located near a shopping area and is served by many buses. Yitzhak and his wife were wonderful hosts and responded to our every question promptly and with graciousness. The little touches they added made us feel valued as guests and we appreciated their personal concern for us when we incidentally experienced a medical issue when out on a trip. Hence we give it five stars.

When using Airbnb my experience is shaped by 1) my experience with the owner, 2) the neighborhood around the rental, and 3) the actual rental unit. 1) My experience with Yitzhak was very good. He is a mensch, honest in his dealing with me, eager to please, and hecame over promptly when I had a small problem. 2) Neighborhood, this rental is in a residential section of Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph. There's not a lot happening here but you know that already 😁. The apt is in a back entrance on a quiet street and I had no trouble sleeping 3) As for the apartment: This is not the Ritz Carlton. It's a very basic two room apartment but it was clean and the appliances worked. The owner included some nice touches: coffee, tea, candies. If you're ok with a basic but clean place this can work for you. One note: Yitzhak doesn't text or use WhatsAp; he uses voice calls only. There can be a bit of delay if he's not available to speak. But he will get back to you.
