The place is now fully fenced! Very well light at night so no worries to take the dog out in the dark. Strong internet thanks to wifi repeater. Parking close by next to the football field (Listing confusing in this point.) When the windows are closed you can hardly hear the traffic noise. The beamer works ok in complete darkness, i.e. you cannot watch it in daylight. There is no easy way to connect a laptop. The "freezer" is a small ice cube compartment in the fridge, i.e. fine for making ice cubes. It does not get much colder. The shared(!) washer/dryer is in an annex. Unlike listing there is no dedicated workspace. You have to use the small dining table to work on. There was no gas for the barbeque and there is only a patio but no garden. We are still puzzled about the beach access (no lake, no sea in sight) and the ski lifts (without driving!) as there is no hill in sight either.

We were very comfortable. All instructions were easy to follow. The locaation was ideal for us. We had all the ammenities we required. Nigel was avaiable if needed.

Accommodation perfectly situated to explore around this part of Wiltshire. Parking is easy and safely off the road. Its a lovely modernised building, having once been part of the original forge is I remember correctly! There is underfloor heating and a log burner, both of which I sadly did not need as the weather was so warm! There was also someone around all the time to help with questions about the area or to offer basic supplies for the annex if needed which was lovely to have.

My hosts were wonderful, answered messages quickly . Gave directions and met me at my car . Couldn’t have been nicer tbh and when travelling on your own that is what you want - a smiling happy host . Accommodation was next to Road and I was alerted of that fact beforehand. Attended a family wedding at Bowood Hotel so this was on the door step , hosts even offered to drop me off on the day of the wedding . Would stay again . Thank you 😊
