David was terrific. Very friendly and caring. I am from Murphysboro in town visiting friends and family so new the area well. I was amazed to find such a quaint, private, peaceful and beautiful place in Murphysboro. As well as has a private outdoor area with grill and patio furniture. I had some lady classmates over that live in Murphysboro and they could believe how amazing the place was and didn't even know the Shawnee Bungalow was even there. Plus David was responsive and easily available. If you had a 10 star rating , I would give him a 15. Thanks David God Bless.

We stayed at the Shawnee Bungalow for the Solar Eclipse. It worked out great for our group. David is a wonderful host and made sure we had good information about the area and good places to view the eclipse. In the end we just stayed put and viewed the eclipse from the nice backyard at the Shawnee Bungalow. So convenient! We ate several meals in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Great place to stay.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Shawnee Bungalow! David and Elsa are wonderful, and they will take VERY GOOD care of you!! Highly recommend this property and hosts! A trip to remember!

Very nice and quiet location, price was reasonable as it was SIU graduation weekend. David communicated often to make sure all was going well! We'd definitely stay here again!
