Heidi and Steve are fantastic host. Their local knowledge of everything and the way they look out for the community is awesome. I’m so glad I stayed there and got to meet them. One of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. Everything is nice and clean well takin care of. You can walk right out the front door and hike to the top of a beautiful mountain, or sit on the deck and watch the wildlife. Looking forward to coming back soon.

This is the perfect mountain getaway right next to all the amenities the city has to offer. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while visiting friends in Roanoke.

Such a wonderful remote, yet accessible location. You’re not far from town, yet you feel tucked away into the woods in your own little hideaway! Was exactly what I was looking for. Kitchen is like new! Shower pressure was amazing. Internet was fast. Bed was amazing, love love love the pillows! Temperature control was easy to use!

Heidi and Steve have created such a thoughtful and welcoming environment in this little mountain hideaway. They were so accommodating and such gracious hosts that it leaves me eager to return and spend more time in this little Oasis. The layout and the amenities are so well thought of and laid out it makes it easy to feel right at home. I came during the fall and the weather and scenery were simply special. Highly recommend staying here if you love access to nature and a peaceful hideout to rest.
