This is an amazing place! We keep coming back to David's annually, because it's a great place to stay. You feel right to home as soon as you walk through the door. The wifi dramatically improved this year. If you're a fan of white noise, crack open a window and let the river put you to sleep.

What a gorgeous location overlooking the Salmon River. We picked a bad time to visit the area with winds gusting up to 65 mph, hail and rain, but the house was sound and secure. It was just the two of us and our dog. We really appreciated being able to bring her. We heard very little road noise even though the house backs up to Old 95. The pool table was fun. And since we were stuck inside for the most part when home we were able to stream netflix on the TV. While we've been in the area before, this was a first time visit to White Bird and we found we really liked it. We really enjoyed 1906 Brews, good selection of beers and wines and nice food options. Red's Kitchen was good too. Everyone was so nice to us in town. We had an issue getting one of the mini splits on. The host was very responsive and friendly, and we got it working quickly. We will definitely come back to the White Bird area and hopefully this house will be available.

Great house in a beautiful setting with tons of space. It was perfect for our 10 person group and I wish we could have stayed longer! The host was easy to communicate with and gave very clear instructions.

It was a lot bigger house than we needed for the two of us, I believe there were 8 beds, but the back porch view is as good as it gets. I could spend a lot of time listening to the Salmon river flow by. I would definitely stay here again. Killgore Adventure Co is about 10 minutes down the road if you want to get out on the river.
