Cleady River Cottage is just a short 5 minute drive into the beautiful heritage town of Kenmare in southwest Ireland. The cottage is surrounded by large gardens and the Cleady river flows gently along the bottom of the garden. The location is perfect for touring both the Ring of Kerry and the Beara peninsula either by car or bike. The Kerry way is a trekkers delight and can be reached easily from the cottage. Kenmare is known as the jewel in the crown on the famous Ring of Kerry The cottage is an extremely comfortable home with three bedrooms which can accommodate up to six people (a cot is available on request). It is extremely well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. We do allow pets (additional €50 per stay) but please do not allow them in the bedrooms or on the furniture!

Beautiful well equipped house with a lovely garden next to a stream. The location was lovely and quiet but with easy access to Kenmare and its restaurants. Would love to return.
Cleady River Cottage in Kenmare was lovely. The location is private and peaceful . We traveled as a family of four, interior spacious rooms and comfortable gathering places in the home. Tactfully decorated to make one feel welcome and cozy. John was a great communicator, before and during trip; quick to answer questions. The amenities were perfect. Easy 5 minute drive into Kenmare for dining or local shopping. Groceries easily accessible to have meals and snacks at Cleady River Cottage. Great base for exploring County Kerry.
Lovely bright and clean home on a gorgeous lot. Our family of five adults was very comfortable. Very short drive to town center for restaurants and shopping. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. John is an excellent and responsive host.

Cleady River Cottage is only a 5 minute drive (or 35 minute walk) into Kenmare but it is in a rural location with a lot of privacy.
Bike hire and private tours of the area can be arranged in Kenmare and the town has three large supermarkets in which to do your shopping (Lidl, Aldi & Supervalue)
