Exactly what we needed! My family of 4 & our dog stayed here and loved it. We needed somewhere for our dog to roam. She has awful anxiety and Steven’s Airbnb was peaceful, no loud noises, and room for her to run. My kids had such a fun time with the little hideout (loft). We put our daughter’s playpen up there and every morning my son and I would climb up the ladder to wake my daughter and husband. He thought it was so fun! The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. It was exactly 10 mins from downtown just like the listing says! The views from the Airbnb were amazing and I loved waking up early to hear the birds and be treated by Beau the dog on the property. Overall an amazing trip and we would definitely stay here again!
It was the perfect base for our house hunting. So quiet and peaceful, and we loved Beau's greetings when we came back to the casita. Thank you for letting us stay with you!
Beautiful place and land. Love the decor and unparalleled peace and quiet. Also love Beau. Just a heads up that the door to the upstairs fell on my daughters head very hard. It’s closed so you push it up to enter and you have to latch it or comes crashing down. We arrived at night so couldn’t see a latch. Hard to cook or dry dishes (no counter space) but we made it work! Downstairs bed super cozy but my daughter didn’t care for little beds upstairs so didn’t sleep well. I would recommend if you want peace, tranquility and amazing landscapes.
Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights in this tradtional casita in the most peaceful and beautiful surroundings. I was lucky to get to meet our hosts briefly and their super friendly dogs more often. Our dog loved resident dogs Beau and Annie and learned how to go in the dog door to our hosts' home as Annie came out! They could not have been more welcoming. Hope to return when we can stay longer!
We loved the interior of the space and location was great, the biggest downside of the space was the bed was very uncomfortable.

I'm originally from Houston, Texas but have lived mostly in New Mexico since 1979. I moved to Crested Butte, CO in 1087 for 12 years but returned to New Mexico in 2002. I have a background in architecture and design; visual art and photography; and spend retirement in community activism and volunteer work. I also served in the Vietnam War in 1968-69.
