Caesar’s place is well-located in town, and very close to Thompson’s Falls. The apartment was exactly as described and provided a comfortable stay. Nyahururu is quite cold, but there was ample bedding provided in the apartment. Thank you for very clear check in instructions too!

The host was communicative, however the facilities leave much to be desired. The apartment had a musty smell. Nyahururu is very cold, so having a window that doesn’t close well is troublesome. The windows have never been cleaned since installation, so they still have all the builders putty. The kitchen is difficult to use due to layout and non- working extension cables, we had to move those around to boil water. The bathroom is difficult to use, as the shower is almost right over the commode, you have to cover it to shower, but the tissue paper got wet as a result of the cramped space. Most important, the bed linens were not clean, one of the comforters was smelly so we had to put it on the outside, since it’s very cold and you couldn’t just put it away and we could smell it the whole night. We couldn’t wait to get out of there the next day. For the cost, you can get a decent hotel accommodation in Kenya for that price, so I wouldn’t say there was any value for money.

Caesar is a great host with good communication skills. Location is convenient, stairway area might need a bit of cleaning up (outside host’s control)
