The place gets the job done. However, the noise in the apartment throughout the day and night is UNBEARABLE. Now, I’m not one to complain about noise but you can hear every little thing inside and outside the apartment whether that’s construction in the morning, rain at night, people in the hallway. There is absolutely no chance you’ll get any sleep or work done in the apartment. This is conveniently left out in any description or notice from the host. So yes the place is as described but it is unlivable due to the noise you hear when inside.

Loved this place and will definitely be back again! Cool, great and modern apartment. Super comfortable bed. Loved the location! So easy to go everywhere in Taipei. So many good food options nearby. Excellent host with very fast and helpful communication. Thank you so much and look forward to returning : )

I was satisfied with the amenities provided. Appreciated having two towels given the number of days I was staying here. Loved having the washer downstairs. Host was also very quick to respond whenever I had a question. I just wish there was a higher table for me to eat at (but the side table worked too) and that there wouldn’t be so much motorcycle noise in the morning. I was slightly disappointed that there was stubble in the sink and hair on pillow/bed/in the cabinet on the day I checked in. Toilet isn’t as clean as it seems in pictures but you’ll be fine. Overall, Micasa is a safe and cozy place to stay at and is near a lot of great food options. Lastly, many thanks to the host for allowing my friend to stay over last minute for one night.
