Die Unterkunft entspricht nicht mehr dem was auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, sondern ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen (z.B. Schimmel in einer der Duschen, wackliger Esstisch). Zudem ließ die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere in der Küche, wo selbst der Boden leicht klebrig war. Check- in verlief auch eher ungünstig, da zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt niemand vor Ort war und wir erstmal warten mussten. Darüberhinaus wurden wir vom Host auf eher ruppige Art daraufhin gewiesen immer die Heizung abzustellen wenn wir schlafen oder aus dem Haus gehen. Die Lage des Hauses hingegen ist super, da man entspannt in das Stadtzentrum laufen kann. Außerdem stehen vor dem Haus kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Decent space for a large group, a bit outside of Inverness city center. Was not the cleanest AirBnB I’ve stayed in, but was satisfactory for an older home. The check out process was unsatisfactory. There seemed to be a breakdown of communication between TravelNest and the property owners which resulted in a very stressful and chaotic check out for our large group of twelve. My chief issue is that I was told by the liaison for TravelNest that we could leave our bags on the premises for two hours after check out time, 10am. We had booked out the entire home, so they were well aware that we were a group of twelve. The morning of check out, eleven of us packed up all of our things, left them in the dining room/entryway. At about 9:20am (40 minutes before check-out), the owners of the property arrived and said that the bags could not be kept there and everything had to go immediately. Thankfully, one adult had stayed behind and called the rest of us who had gone out for a walk by Loch Ness. This resulted in us having to return to the home almost as soon as getting to our destination and having to frantically grab our bags from the front yard to vacate the premises as soon as possible. It was needlessly stressful and when I spoke to the owner about it, she said it was because we could leave a couple bags at the house but not so many bags. However, they were well aware of how many people were in our group due to the details of the booking. Additionally, the owner made a rude and unprofessional comment to one of the women in our group about the use of a towel. On the day of check in, one of the owners gave members of our group a tour and explicitly invited us to use the kitchen, but during check out seemed bothered by the use of the kitchen. Also, I was specifically told by TravelNest we could not check in any earlier than 4pm but all of the materials/guest books in the bedrooms said they had a check in time of 2pm. Just an odd discrepancy.

The person that greeted us on the first day was really nice and friendly. We got in the house and It’s really tired and dirty and needs a full refurbishment. Radiators are hanging off the walls, there’s is mould in the showers the carpets are filthy and bedsheets were horrendous there were hand prints all over the fridge. We all felt dirty being there. I told them that we were bringing five children ranging from 6 yrs old to 11 weeks. The thresholds into the bedrooms weren’t done properly and there were nails coming through and to top it off when the owners and cleaners came they had the audacity to say that we’d left the place in a state . I had left some toast on a place in my bedroom and there were (non poo) nappies in the bin the bathroom but no sure where else we were meant to leave them. The best part was that they had a shouting match with my dad and husband and were disgustingly racist by using the phrase ‘it always looks like this when YOU PEOPLE stay’. We are Asian apart from my husband who is white . How dare they speak to my father the way they did. We would have left the place in a better state (whatever that’s means) If it was clean when we got there but it’s not like anyone was compelled to get down on their hands and knees to scrub when it was filthy anyway. We would absolutely NEVER go back. Should not be called ‘a stunning’ rental. Completely misleading.

a lovely place. just outside the busy town of Inverness. The hosts where very helpful and accommodating. All the rooms where very clean, it was exactly what we needed. thanks Jamie

Hosts very friendly, gave detailed tour on arrival. Communication could be better and we were asked to check out 10 mins earlier than planned, which then ended up not happening - not sure why!
