This was the perfect place for our girls getaway. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The decor is beautiful and all the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had spices and oils and foil available for our use. The shower was hot and they supplied soaps and shampoos. Everything was well thought out. Coffee, extra blankets, fire places on upon arrival, and a bottle of wine. What more can you ask for. Check in and check out was super easy as well. We were there during a very cold winter storm and we stayed in and played games (many of which were provided) and watched movies. We’d all love to return in the nicer weather to take advantage of the beach and outdoor space. If there is anything to improve upon it would be just a tad more counter space for prepping larger meals would have been helpful. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect and we would return and recommend it to anyone

The cottage is so quaint. It felt like home as soon as you walked in the doors. Tanya was a great host and responded immediately to any questions we had.

I can’t say enough about Tanya’s cottage! Truly a beautiful and lovely location. Being so close to water made for beautiful views. And don’t even get me started on the cozy aesthetic! We had a beautiful weekend, thank you Tanya and Chris! We’ll be back!

I can’t say enough positive things about this cottage & Tanya. The cottage is absolutely stunning, so many stunning curated details, There was everything we needed in the cottage, even things we didn’t know we needed! Decorated beautifully, amazing views of the water and the new deck is awesome. Incredibly clean, epic sunsets and the most comfy beds. Will definitely be re booking this property with family. Truly can’t say enough good things. Tanya was very friendly and always quick to reply and easy to communicate with! This space can very comfortable accommodate 10 (we only had 8 and it never felt crowded), bathrooms were spotless along with bedrooms. Comfortable couches and extremely cozy! Thanks so much for everything Tanya! ❤️

Words cannot do this property or its hosts justice. No detail was overlooked - everything you could need was supplied and then some (coffee pods, teas and syrups, all lotions/cleansers/cleaning/toiletries, pantry staples, luxury linens, blankets, games and books) and thoughtful touches were everywhere (freshly-baked cookies that were gone the first night!). The decor was out of a magazine, with panoramic views of Lake Huron as a backdrop. More luxury-boutique hotel than rental, yet with the quaintness of the original cottage remodelled to respect its historical origins. The new deck with stairs to the water were the envy of all the neighbours, with a little sand beach and shallow water for days that was a big hit. Morning coffee on that deck restores the soul, and with the spectacular sunsets each evening by a firepit overlooking the lake, followed by the show of stars, it couldn't get any better. Tanja's warmth, responsiveness and attention to detail as a host really shows - 🙏
