Robert and Cherish were fantastic hosts, excellent communicators and just lovely people! Cherish has the place operating like a smooth running, finely tuned, high performance engine. Robert a sterling guide and chef extraordinaire. A delight from beginning to end.

Bob and Cherish were great hosts. Breakfast was delicious, and the candy bar was a nice touch for midnight cravings. My wife and I enjoyed playing board games/cards on the porch and in the common space. There is also a fridge and microwave in the common space. The Avery is walking distance to downtown Galen so we didn't have to worry about parking. We stayed in the Sandra room that has a queen bed and private bathroom. It was clean and tidy with a little TV for late night movies and an AC unit to stay cool. If Bob and Cherish would welcome us back for another stay, we'd likely book one of the other rooms with a king-size bed. Thank you again for the hospitality.

Our stay was fantastic, Bob and Cherie were very nice and informative on the best places to eat as well as the history surrounding the area. The breakfast provided in the morning was out of this world delicious! The location was perfect as it is only about a 10 minute walk to the Main Street shopping and dining which is very convenient as it’s a booming town with lots to do so parking wasn’t a worry for us. Would definitely stay at the Avery again.

This location is short walking distance to downtown (shopping, restaurants, museums, trolley, winery, brewery, kayaking, paddle boats, rental bikes, hiking trails). Absolutely immaculate interior and breakfast included. Several areas in front and behind the home to relax. The street for parking is quiet and I never had a problem parking. Secured building.
