The Water House is a fantastic place to visit. It caters well for 2 families, 8 to 10 people and is ideal if you like watersports and have a motor boat. It is on the edge of the lagoon. It is a spacious home which is very well equipped. Stuart and Gerhard are very good hosts and they meet you on-site on arrival and on departure. They went to a lot of trouble to make sure everything was just right, including the provision of firewood, beach towels, ice etc. Can't wait to go back there sometime.

Stuart and Gerard were phenomenal hosts. They were so incredibly accommodating despite changing plans. The communication was brilliant and the home so was so well equipped as well as everything we needed to know being jotted down in a little book. Their home was so well set up for us. Even the little touches of chocolates next to the bed and rechargeable lights for loadshedding! The small touches were noted and so appreciated. They really do go above and beyond to accommodate their guests and ensure their guests have the best time. It was a real treat coming from a big city to this beautiful holiday home for a getaway. Great reviews from my guests that came with as well. I was beyond impressed by the service I received from them and the home we stayed in. My expectations were topped entirely. Was sad to leave the serene and peaceful space. Wish we could stay forever! Will definitely be back again soon😊

Gerhard met us and was very welcoming and helpful. The house is very spacious and comfortable with good views from the front and the back. The showers are large and had plenty of hot water. The beds are comfortable and all the rooms including the dining room and kitchen had masses of cupboard space. The TV and sound system are great. the swimming pool was perfect.

The Waterhouse is a perfect setting for some peace and quiet. It is very spacious and our family of four had a wonderful time. The view of the lagoon was lovely and the private swimming pool was very welcome after those crazy, hot days. The only negative aspects were the swarms of midges at night - which prevented us from opening the windows. Since there were no fans, it got a bit hot and stuffy at night. Also, with all the load shedding, it would have been good to have a few inverters. Otherwise all great! Gerhard was fantastic in showing us around. Such a lovely start to our holiday.

Great location on the Lagoon. Super spacious house with a great pool. Old school Rustic but comfortable. Only 10 minutes from Hermanus. Could do with a larger Braai. Gergard was a great host !
