The unit is in walking distance to DT and close to all needed shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Parking was in front of house. The host was very responsive and accommodating within just a few minutes.

Yong is a responsive host taking care of things a guest asks for but it gets hard to keep asking and at some point a property should be updated and well appointed without a guest having to ask. The kitchen was not fitted with pots, pans and cooking utensils such that a person can make their own meals. Many of the pots and pans were old Teflon ones with the Teflon peeling. Yong did bring over replacement pots when asked but the frying pans were still undesirable. There were no serving spoons, measuring cups, baking trays etc. The single oven mitt was damaged inside with torn threads and holes. Light bulbs were burnt out. The oven was very, very dirty. We stayed twice. He did have the oven cleaned somewhat in between stays and he did replace light bulbs. It just got difficult to always be asking for things that should be better maintained in the first place.

Yong’s place felt like home. It was cozy and peaceful. It was simply great.

We reserved this place twice, and both times were fortunate to have been upgraded to a unit with better fixings than what we had booked and what we expected! Yong was very responsive to all my queries and was also very accommodating with our requests to store our luggage when our arrival and departure times didn't line up with check in and check out times. Our first rental was a little lacking with utensils but was perfectly serviceable -we just had to wash a bit more frequently - but the second rental had everything we needed for the 5 of us. In hindsight, I should have messaged him earlier, as he indicated he had everything readily available and could have gotten us anything we needed. The beds were super comfortable.Two washrooms were really convenient! Internet was great.The location was perfect to walk to most places in Whitehorse (not exactly a huge city! lol!). And finally, I thought the price was reasonable compared to the cost of other options for 5 people! Great stay!
