An adorable place right in the middle of town with beautiful views of the river and ancient Roman bridge. The place is beautifully decorated and adorned with everything you could need. There was a bottle of wine and homemade jelly waiting for us upon arrival. The bed is big and comfy and the shower is perfect. Jude is an incredible host who made sure everything was just perfect for us and was very responsive to all our questions and needs. The home is well situated in the beautiful Southern Rhône wine country so there are plenty of incredible producers in the immediate area. The village has an excellent selection of restaurants all within walking distance. There are three separate levels all accessible via a narrow, circular, steep staircase. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be a challenge for anyone concerned with stairs. The value for this home is exceptional. You really can’t ask for more!

Vaison-la-Romaine was a perfect location for a home-base of our trip to southern France and Jude's place was the in the perfect location in Vaison-la-Romaine. Just minutes walk to virtually anywhere in town, and easy parking just down the street. It was wonderful to see the locals and visitors strolling the street below the quaint balcony, with lots of activity happening during the day but very quiet at night. The place is exactly as pictured, extremely clean and well appointed/decorated. Jude has the place stocked very well, from a nice bottle of local wine for arrival, to a jar of homemade jam, to most everything needed to complete the breakfasts we made from groceries bought at the local 'Casino' market (condiments, paper products, etc). While Jude made herself very available to us if needed, quite frankly we didn't need her because everything was clearly laid out for us prior to arrival and additional instructions/tips were there for us to refer to. Highly recommended!!!

We´ve had a fantastic week in Judith´s house, as we did last year when we rented the house. It´s perfectly situated by the old Roman bridge and Ouveze river. It´s possible to take a bath in the river and to stay on the pebbled beach. The house is very nice and very clean and has the provencal charming 'style' with one room per floor. Judith is very easy to get in touch with and will help you with your questions if you have any. We will certainly come back again!

This place is a fantastic stay, in a gorgeous location in the center of the charming village of Vaison La Romaine. Parking is a breeze as there is a large, free lot, just steps from the location. Access is easy using a coded keypad, and Judith was a great communicator in telling us where to go, as well as giving us helpful advice for places to see during our stay. The space itself is legitimately very well decorated and decked out. Just enough furniture and artwork to make it feel like home, and a lack of personal stuff so it doesn't feel like you're necessarily staying in someone else's house. We found a lot of the details quite charming, the bed and shower very modern and comfy, and the kitchen an excellent space to store amazing food finds from the weekly market, and all the other great shops in the surrounding towns. There's also a really wonderful balcony. Last, you're right across the street from the oldest part of town, which was fantastic for evening walks. This space would make a charming home base for exploring all the surrounding areas, as it's incredibly close to numerous towns in the region. Highly recommend this place!
