Phi welcomed us very well. We didn't stay in the room in this link because it wasn't available, but we got one upstairs. Vietnam is a complicated place but the accommodation was good except for the noise coming from the cafe upstairs and there wasn't much privacy. All the windows had view to the cafe including the bathroom window, even though it was covered the feeling is that you don't have much privacy. The cafe is very pleasant and has a beautiful view of the lake.

My review is just based on the poor communication me and Phi had. I didn’t stay at his place so I can’t comment on it. Phi did not respond to my booking request for almost 17 hours, so instead I decided to book with him on his instant booking ad. He contacted me and said that he didnt have a place for me and I should cancel this booking. After a really long flight i was so exhausted and this really ruined my first day in hanoi.
