Cozy secluded country get away, like caravan was small but had everything we needed for a 2 night off grid stay The Honesty shop was a great idea and really useful if you didn’t want to venture into the local town which is 5 minute drive! Hot tub was clean and a welcoming treat after dark Hosts were lovely and helpful when needed! A great experience if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life Thanks for having us

The Shepherd Hut “Cut Corner” is set in a stunning location right next to the brook - waking up and hearing the babbling brook is just amazing. Despite its compact nature the hosts have thought about absolutely everything you’ll need. And there was a 24 hour “shop” on site (with an honesty box) that stocked everything from fresh eggs laid by the chickens roaming around the site (FYI - you need to try the eggs, the yolks were so golden and they tasted amazing!), sausages and bacon, logs for the fire in the hut, to mobile phone chargers. They’ve thought of absolutely everything. Sited just outside of Machynlleth it’s a perfect base for hiking in Snowdonia. It really was a perfect weekend and we’d highly recommend staying here - thank you Sioned.

Lovely few days break. Great cabin with superb views into the fields and a peacful stream running through just outside. Great dog friendly decking area which was secure so our dog was safe to roam around. Hot tub and fire were great. Lots of logs needed to fuel both at the same time, more logs provided would have been an added bonus. Any extra information of walks surrounding the cabin would have been useful as no signal to search for local walks. We really enjoyed our time and had a relaxing break!

The location of the hut is perfect set right next to the stream which you can hear inside the hut and it’s very peaceful , you also get to enjoy the resident chickens wandering around and was a delight to see the lambs in the field opposite. Sioned was very helpful and responded to all our queries very quickly. The hut was cosy and clean, I had never used the eco toilet before but it was very simple to use and didn’t smell at all ! This is the perfect romantic getaway

Had an amazing time at Cut Mawr. Lovely Shephards hut with everything you need and a beautiful view. Hot tub is brilliant. Nice at night with the clear stars. Really peaceful and quiet. Lots of good walks around and close to the coast. Sioned and Andy were great hosts. Brilliant communication and friendly people. Would definitely come again.
