Welcome to The Baden Powell Retreat. You will enjoy a peaceful home with lots of nature and privacy. Our enclosed deck has fans and plenty of furniture to lounge, work remotely & enjoy a meal. The home has a furnished kitchen with utensils, an outdoor grill, on-site laundry, and a spacious parking area. We're about 30 minutes to Gainesville, 10 minutes to Melrose, 15 minutes to Keystone Heights, and about 25 minutes to Palatka. A welcoming floor plan. Two bedrooms are off to one side. The living room and kitchen area have space to enjoy. Plus, we do offer WIFI, TV, and games. And we have a nice enclosed outdoor deck.

This was a great place for my whole family to stay. Troy was very responsive and everything worked as advertised. The place has plenty of space for a family of 6 to enjoy and relax.
Great place outside of Gainesville. The ride to Gainesville was a breeze. The part I liked best was the back porch. Huge and set up for relaxing. Troy and Sarah were great. Highly recommended for a quit getaway.

A nice rural neighborhood. Overall, this neighborhood is quiet and offers lots of peace and privacy—no neighbors within eyesight of this property.
You will need a vehicle. Feel free to bring your bicycles, kayaks, and anything else to enjoy the outdoors. Lake Santa Fe is just about 10 minutes away. They do have a boat ramp that is free to the public.

Here you will find clean, accessible home with many features. This is great for a family or friends getaway. There's plenty of outdoor recreation especially for hunting, fishing & hiking.
