Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Very responsive host. We had a great time staying with our dog, who absolutely loved her stay as well! So close to Sandy Hook beaches and a very short walk to downtown Highlands. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Host set up the heat to turn down at night and did not tell us. It was so cold the first night that I slept in my coat and my baby kept waking up and ended up getting sick. He allowed us to change house rule of 73 max but he did not tell us about this automated setting until 3rd night. I told him he should have let us know earlier and he responded by criticizing our parenting for not having the heat down for sleeping. We left the next day for a new place even though we had to pay for the 2 additional nights we had booked at Jack's place. He denied my request for a refund, even though I asked for just one of the two nights that we didn't stay. He became very rude in the chat, even laughing at us, saying we had the heat "cranked" and threatened to show us the heating bill if it was excessive. Place was nice but host was not. I hope he can learn to be a better host from this experience. I've stayed at many airbnbs and never had such a problem.

Jack was a very responsive host! The place looked just like the pictures and was very comfortable for 3 adults and one mid-sized dog. It was incredibly close to restaurants, the dog beach, and the main part of town. 9.5/10, would definitely stay again!

Highlands is such a cozy, friendly, and lovely town, and we were so happy to stay at Jack’s place while we were there. His home was immaculate, comfortable, and had all the amenities one could ask for. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog, who loved sniffing around the backyard. Jack was super accommodating when we needed to extend our stay (twice!), and at the affordable price, it couldn’t be beat!
