Such a wonderful find. Gite comfortable and well equipped. Lovely power shower! Because of the lay out you need to use the kitchen sink to wash your hands after the loo, but that was fine. You can order a fresh bakery delivery to the door each morning, and can buy fresh eggs laid on site. Julie and Nicolas were so helpful and friendly. A really genuine lovely family! Peaceful site. They took our 6 year old boy to collect eggs from their chickens and to help feed the animals and see the goats. I wanted to practise my French, so although Nicolas speaks excellent English he spoke French to me, and was patient whilst I tried to find the right words! Nicolas gave us lots of local info about places to visit. The area is pretty countryside with interesting things to see only 15-20 minutes drive away, and Dunkirk and Lille an hour away too. Nothing is too much trouble for Julie and Nicolas! I hope to go there again!

Allereerst Julie en Nicolas hele fijne mensen. gaatvrij, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Zij zullen alles doen om een fijn verblijf voor je te regelen. Een dikke tien! De locatie ligt niet direct nabij de kust. Daar kies je bewust voor. overigens is een dagje kust goed te doen als je bijv een auto tot je beschikking hebt. (ca 75km, alhoewel dichterbij ook opties zijn). De binnenwegen zijn mooi maar er rijden ookmlangzamevtrekkers...heb geen haast. Het huisje was compleet ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. de keuken heeft wat weinig kastruimte voor bijv je boodschappen maar die kunnen ook op het aanrecht staan. Voor mij geen groot probleem. aan de voorkant is er geen grasveld waar je prive kunt zitten maar in ieder geval kun je wel aan een bistro setje lekker buiten zitten voor bijv. ontbijt. Je zit niet prive. Bij de bijbehorende camping zijn geen grote faciliteiten zoals zwembad of iets dergelijks maar voor de kleinsten is er een klein speeltuintje en hebben ze wat dieren rondlopen.

An absolute gem! A really well appointed vacation home with a full kitchen, allot of space and even a washing machine! Its ideally situated to explore the French Flanders, very close to all the history while staying between the farmers fields and in the peace and quiet. Couldnt recommend this place more 😊
