Mojave Mountain Retreat is a wonderful property with everything one needs to relax and appreciate the beauty of nature. The house provides everything from a well-equipped indoor kitchen, outdoor BBQ/kitchen, comfortable sleeping arrangements, digital entertainment, and luxurious details like a hot tub and fire pit. The property itself is stunning and clean inside and out—it also has frequent visits from cute wildlife. Maya is a friendly and helpful host who makes sure all aspects of the stay are understood and that the stay is as seamless as possible. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a desert retreat!

Maya's space was the perfect place for a family getaway. The home is beautifully designed to take advantage of the gorgeous, expansive views of the desert. We had many young children with us, and they had plenty of space to play and safely explore in the home. Maya was incredibly responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond as a host. I'm so thankful for all of her help to make our stay so wonderful!

Maya was a wonderful host! We were a group of 10 with 1 friend in a power chair & the house fit us all comfortably. Maya was helpful & supportive in answering all of our accessibility questions & she went above & beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable & we were all taken care of. If you’re a guest with a power chair, you will be able to move freely about the house without a portable ramp to get inside. The bedroom door widths & main hallway from the living room to the kitchen are quite tight with a little breathing room to pass through, but it’s just enough space to be able to enter without a problem. The en suite rolling shower does have a slight step down which may be difficult to enter & exit with a shower chair. The house itself is spacious with beautiful views, and the kitchen is clean, cute & stocked with everything we needed to cook & bake multiple meals across a long weekend. We enjoyed staying at this house & would recommend it to anyone wanting a Joshua Tree getaway!
