My wife and my 80-year-old mother joined me to witness the totality of the solar eclipse that tracked across Texas in 2024. The location was prime, but the weather unfortunately did not cooperate. However, being in the path of the totality afforded us the ability to travel to where the skies were predicted to be clear, and so relatively nearby Arkansas was within reach (and we were able to see what we came for). The prior reviews otherwise say it all. We found the vacation home in good working order, very clean, and perfectly comfortable (including the mattresses). It is an old farm home, so expect creaky floors (as pointed out by another reviewer). The home is adjacent to a well-traveled county highway, but the road noise did not bother us while inside. (You may find it annoying if you intend to use the Jacuzzi, which is closer to the road than other outdoor locations on the grounds.) All in all, this property is quite a find. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would return.

Great space! Very welcoming and has a lot of charm! Great use of space with added beds. Has lots of towels. Would definitely recommend it! Host was great and quick to respond to anything.
